Marketing Strategy

Dear business owner,

This isn't my first rodeo. Over the last decade, I've seen cowboy after cowboy fly off the horse and take the horse with them. There are so many "how to start a SMMA (Social Media Marketing Agency)" courses in 48 hours on the internet, it makes me spit out my Platypus milk latte.

Here's the thing: learning how to operate Facebook ads, Google ads, YouTube ads - it just isn't that hard. And once you know how to operate the ad manager, you're a marketer, right?

Wrong.

It's akin to learning how to hammer in a nail and calling yourself a builder. Being able to use the tool is nothing more than that - knowing how to use the tool. To drive the point home, I could teach your Nana how to run Google ads within four hours.

Does that make Nana a marketer? Please, say no.

Now that we've got that out of the way, let's put some meat on the bone.

I didn't start my journey as a marketer. No, I started my journey as a business owner at the age of 22, thrown into the deep end due to my overambition. I then spent the next ten years growing a successful seven-figure business. It wasn't until I was 32 that I realised my true passion: helping people grow their companies through marketing and sales - something I am endlessly passionate about. So, I cleared the canvas and spent the last decade pouring my life's work into marketing & sales.

My background in business, every failure, and every success, has been the breeding ground for success. Why? Because I learned to respect every cent a company spends and understand how actions must impact the top or bottom line. This respect led me to grow one of the most successful performance marketing agencies in the world, working with and designing strategies for the who's who, as well as for those who really need it: startups and SMEs.

I won't bore you with my trophy cabinet, but the awards have been the tip of the iceberg - AFR, Deloitte, just to name a few.

In 2020, I exited my agency to work as an independent consultant, where I could be selective with whom I worked with and focused on the work I'm most passionate about. Crafting strategies for businesses that drive growth, keeping the business owner fast asleep at night.

This isn't some bogus marketing hype. If you want to talk with someone who has invested their life's work into business, marketing, and sales, I would love to talk to you about how I can help you increase your revenue through marketing, sales, or both.
